Bariatric Surgery

Weight loss surgery (gastric sleeve) for patients that qualify for the procedure based on body mass index.

Post weight loss surgery

If you were obese and lost a significant amount of weight from lifestyle changes including Gastric Sleeve or Gastric Band Surgery, you may be experiencing complications due to excess skin.

After losing the weight, many people require a body contouring procedure.

Breast reduction surgery

Female breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty) is a procedure that reduces the size, shape and volume of the breasts to relieve symptoms caused by excessively large breasts. For these women, the surgery can relieve symptoms of back, neck and shoulder pain; rashes and restriction of activities that can be associated large heavy breasts.

Shoulder & Elbow Replacement Surgery

Shoulder surgery:  Total or partial shoulder replacement for patients who suffer shoulder joint pain or stiffness caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), rheumatoid arthritis, rotator cuff tears or past dislocations.
Elbow surgery:   The elbow can undergo degenerative change that leads to pain, stiffness and dysfunction. This can be due to osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis or previous trauma.  Some patients may benefit from having a Total Elbow Replacement to improve pain, restore movement and improve quality of life.

Hip & Knee Surgery

Total or partial hip or knee replacement for patients who suffer joint pain or difficulty walking or instability caused by chronic pain, degenerative joints, sports injuries or arthritis.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The Access Program does not cover Breast Augmentations (Breast Lifts, Implants).
  • Revision Surgery is not covered by the Access Program.
  • Patients who have had previous Bariatric Surgery are not eligible for Bariatric Surgery as part of the Access Program.

 

COMMUNICATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA:

If accepted into the Access Program, we request that patients do not reveal the name of their surgeon, the procedures being performed or the cost of their surgery on social media, through private messaging or in support groups.
This is to protect the Surgeons who generously give their time to the Access Program.
